How to Use the Sajilo App: Step by Step
Sajilo makes booking rides across Nepal fast and simple from your phone. This complete guide walks you through every step from download to drop-off.
Sajilo is Nepal's dedicated ride-hailing app built for local conditions, local prices, and Nepali roads.
Getting Started
Download the Sajilo app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Open it and enter your Nepali mobile number. You will receive a 6-digit OTP via SMS -- enter it to verify your account. If you are a new user, fill in your name to complete registration. No password is needed; OTP login keeps your account secure.
Booking a Cab
From the home screen, tap the Cab tab. Enter your pickup location -- you can type an address or use your GPS location. Then enter your destination. The app will show you a price estimate based on road distance. You can adjust the offer slightly using the price slider if you prefer. Tap Book Cab to send your request to nearby drivers.
Tracking Your Ride
Once a driver accepts, you will see their name, vehicle details, and estimated arrival time. The app shows live status updates: driver on the way, driver arrived, trip in progress. When the driver arrives, they will share a 4-digit OTP -- tell the driver your OTP to start the trip securely.

Payment and Completion
Fares are shown in NPR. You can pay by cash or from your Sajilo wallet. After the trip, you will be prompted to rate your driver. Your trip history is always saved under the History tab.

The Bus tab lets you search intercity bus journeys, select seats, and book online. The Safari tab connects you with City Safari drivers for landmark tours around Kathmandu and Pokhara. Use the Profile tab to manage your wallet, edit your details, or contact support.

Is the app available in Nepali? Yes -- tap the language switcher in Settings to switch between English, Nepali, and Hindi.
What if no driver accepts my request? Try adjusting your offered price slightly upward or try again after a few minutes. Demand varies by time and location.
Is there a cancellation fee? Minor cancellations within the first few minutes are free. Check the app terms for details on longer waits.
