Nepal charges an international departure tax on all outbound international flights. The fee is NPR 2,765 (approximately USD 20) per person as of 2026. In most cases, this fee is included in your airline ticket price automatically.

However, if you book directly through some budget or charter airlines, the departure tax may not be included. Always verify when booking.
